We’ve had some nice weather recently so I decided to do some metal detecting at the local park. I had detected there on a few previous occasions, but there was still targets everywhere. After about an hour I got a nice signal with the F2 that was in the 78 zone which is usually a dime, so I dug down about four inches and found the target.
At first I was disappointed because I thought that I had another piece of aluminum can in my hand. That’s when I saw that it had a fleur de lis on the front, and that it was actually a nice size silver ring!
It was bent, but I was excited to have just found a ring. Of course I did a little happy dance on the way back to the car. I had a little ring in my pocket going jinga linga langgg!
After it was cleaned up I could see that it is a .925 Silver ring!
I was happy to find a ring in an area that had been detected before because it showed me that no area is ever hunted out completely. The ring fits me too, so I’ll take it! lol
Happy Hunting Guys & Gals
