After my hunt at the old church I decided to call a friend and ask if he wanted to go hunt a park that we had been waiting to hunt. He said yes, so we met up at his house and off we went to the park. I noticed right off that more than likely no one has hunted that park before. We were both having decent luck around the playground equipment.
In about 90 minutes we both had a few clad coins. Nothing really significant, but after hunting the church earlier in the day I was happy to see coins coming out of the ground. Even if it was mulch! Before we left we sampled an area next to an old basketball court and both dug several coins from that area to see if those signals were in fact coins. They were.
That particular park is very old, so it will be interesting to see what kind of goodies reveal themselves in future hunts there! We plan to go back there soon.
