Highland Community Church

I had the privilege to metal detect at an old country church Tuesday. The area is 5 acres, and I was only able to hunt a small portion of that. I didn’t find anything significant that day, but there is no doubt that there is treasure there to be found.

A little church with a big heart

It is called Highland Church and it is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Highland Church was first established in 1883. The new Highland Church members have been working selflessly to bring the 128 year old Church back to life by renovating the church in their spare time. Highland Church’s Pastor Ronn and his wife, Rhonda have put their hearts and soul into the little church that they call “A little church, With a Big heart!”

You are more than welcome to attend a service when you are in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area. If you would like to visit the little church feel free to contact Pastor Ronn by filling out the form at the bottom of the page on the Highland Church Website.

Wow what a great spot to hunt! I’m sure some of the church members that are helping restore the church would love to see some old finds and maybe even display them in the church!

Good luck with the rest of the property. Let us know what you find!

It’s pastor Ronn… I just wanted to give you an update, I was walking to the mailbox after a rain and as I was looking down I saw the shape of a penny, I was not going to pick it up but I thought it looked old… It was a 1915 Indian head… I was blown away and it was in an area that nobody ever detects.
P.S. I just received my Ace 350 today and I have permission to detect on land next to a battlefield, give me a call and let’s go check it out one day! Happy Hunting
P.S.S. I am also working on my newest website, http://christiantube.us
