Homestead In The Woods

In December 2010 I purchased a Fisher F2 Metal Detector for Christmas.   I did alot of research on the F2 before I bought it and couldn’t wait to get outside to try it out.  On January 3, 2011 I finally got a chance to detect around the rock foundation that I had found in the woods.

I had found some relics that were part of a horse collar in this area previously, so I inferred that the area that I was hunting around was once a barn.
